Hurricane Sandy Survival Guide

Though I try not to get wrapped up in the hype, these storms and the news coverage devoted to them get me in a preparedness frenzy… I took a little time over the weekend to stock up and make sure I feel ok in case I’m stranded at home for 10 days with no electricity or water 😉

Here are a few things to make sure you have on hand as the storm approaches:

– water (Kate, I know what you’re thinking, but I can’t help myself!)

– provisions and batteries (not pictured- freshly ground coffee!)

– emergency chocolate

– reading materials (once I’ve had enough news, I can chuckle at the bizarre demands of Mark Black!)

– candles

– games and other entertainment

– good company!
