Black sesame toast

February 9, 2012

One of the most fun things about Brooklyn adventures are the new breakfasts you get to try the next day! I picked up a loaf of black sesame bread at a Chinese bakery in Sunset Park, and was so pleased! It has the cloud like texture of Asian style white bread, intermingled with the dark color and deep flavor of the black sesames, a winning combination that is showcased beautiful swirls of the bread’s profile…

I toasted a slice, spread on a bit of peanut butter and added thin slices of the baby bananas I bought from a sweet lady on 57th and 8th in Brooklyn. It tasted delish with rose tea with almond milk and a few kumquats!

I want to come to your house for breakfast. Or maybe you just come to my house with all your yummy things. I am jealous of your New York access to great food!
